Early in his career Arthur Morgan managed a team of software developers at an Apple spin-off, working on an innovative AI-powered virtual assistant that served as a model for later products like Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant. The company was dubbed “the most important company in Silicon Valley that nobody’s ever heard of” by former Apple CEO John Sculley.
Throughout his career, Morgan has focused on leveraging technology to improve accessibility, education, and civic engagement. He served as the CIO of the Junior Statesmen Foundation, and also founded a successful alternative social media platform for young writers. Morgan’s expertise extends to social media’s impact on mental health, having personally overcome social media addiction.
In 2019 Morgan was rescued by a Spanish Water Dog named Paco. A former vegetarian who had never owned a gun, Morgan learned how to hunt and trained Paco to be his gundog. He regularly holds webinars and in-person events related to dog training, and has participated with Paco for the last two years in the prestigious World Dog Surfing Championships.
Morgan lives in San Mateo, California with his wife and two Spanish Water Dogs, but travels frequently across the country, bringing Paco with him whenever possible.
